T.H.E. PLAYGROUND
To create a journey that allows one to discover new body forms.
The final board explains the structural framing system of the building. Steel I beams and columns are used to handle the spans of 10M, with secondary beams at 3M spacing in between.
The main features that requires support are the staircases and the feature wall between the studios. The staircase in the resource center are supported by steel rods to the slab above. The wall is supported by slanted columns.
There is also a glass floor view point which acts as a view point to the public studio below. The structural framing for this feature is expressed in both the model and the plans.
This board ends with a montage of the building at site. Expressing it as a Playground.
